1559The Russian version of SIPRI Yearbook 2014 “Armaments, Disarmament and International Security”, including the Special Supplement compiled by IMEMO experts, was presented on September 24, 2015.
The Russian edition of SIPRI Yearbook 2014, prepared under the joint project of IMEMO RAN and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) was launched. The event was opened by the introduction of Academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS): Alexey G. Arbatov, Head of the Center for International Security of IMEMO RAN and Vladimir G. Baranovsky, Director of the Center for Situation Analysis of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The presentation generated considerable interest. The event gathered more than fifty representatives from ministries and specialized scientific research centers, various institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, NGOs and mass media.
