1385The Center for Comparative Socio-Economic and Socio-Political Studies held a workshop within the framework of an on-going seminar dedicated to trends of social and political change and to methodological problems of analyzing political, social and cultural transformations in the contemporary world. The current series is dedicated to social and political change in Western democracies. The workshop focused on the political and economic situation in Germany, with special attention to the changes in the political landscape and to the prospects of the German economy. Prof. Irina Busighina (MGIMO University), Dr. Vladislav Belov (Centre for German Studies of the Institute of Europe, RAS) and Dr. Alexei Kuznetsov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, IMEMO, took the floor.
