1252The new issue of IMEMO journal “Pathways to Peace and Security”(no. 2(51), December 2016) is out of print. The issue covers a wide range of topics, including the prospects for the Russia-US dialogue in the context of the US presidential elections’ results, tensions and conflicts in the Middle East (from the specifics of de facto Kurdish autonomy in Syria to the Saudi-Iranian regional rivalry), problems of socio-political development in post-Soviet Eastern Europe (political process and crises in Moldova), Transcaucasia (Islam in Georgia) and ways for security cooperation in and on Central Asia as well as such security threats as terrorism in Africa and piracy in Southeast Asia.
