The meeting between the Center for Asia Pacific Studies staff and the group of statesmen of the Republic of Korea was held in the IMEMO on August 30, 2016.
Deputy Director of the IMEMO, Head of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies Corresponding Member of RAS Vasily Mikheev and junior researcher of the IMEMO S.V. Ignatiev attended the meeting.
The South-Korean delegation included high rank members of the State structures of the Republic of Korea, headed by the Deputy Director General of the Seoul municipal government Om Yong Suk.
During the meeting there was discussion of current problems of the Korean Peninsula.
