Alexander A. Dynkin, the Member of the Academy of Sciences, attended a meeting of the Council for Science and Education. The discussion focused in the measures to improve the scientific activities, in particular the increase in efficiency of the grant system to support research projects, budget financing of research and development within the government task, the use of the Endowment Fund, as well as the legal support of the new mechanisms for research funding.
