On November 28, 2024, the website of the Russian International Affairs Council published an article by Ekaterina Kosareva and Ivan Shchedrov of the Center of the Indo-Pacific Region on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) in India.

The reasons why the country's authorities are interested in the development of AI technologies are considered; the problems associated with their development are analyzed. Although New Delhi shows great interest in high technologies and their large-scale implementation, it still relies largely on foreign solutions, which means that the pace of AI-technology implementation in India will be determined by factors of the international situation.
