16On February 6, 2026, the website of the business magazine "Profile" published an article by Mikhail Terskikh, Research Fellow of the Center for the Indo-Pacific Region of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics), "How Coffee Became One of the Foundations of the Economy of Vietnam and Its National Symbol".
On April 16, 2026, a ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council of IMEMO was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Institute. The event brought together leading Russian scientists, diplomats, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the legislative authorities, with whom the Institute shares many years of collaborative work.
