On February 24, the United States imposed new sanctions on Belarus for "supporting and assisting" Belarus in Ukraine. The US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on 24 Belarusian individuals and legal entities. The National Bank of Belarus "Belinvestbank" and "Dabrabyt bank", as well as defense industry enterprises and security institutions were included in the sanction list. The Department of Commerce of the USA extended the strict export control policy against Russia to Belarus on March 2, 2022. The restrictions will involve the export of high-tech products, including semiconductors, software and aerospace parts.
