735Staff-members of the IMEMO Dina Malysheva, Olga Vorkunova and Natalya Shapiro made reports at the Diplomatic Academy of Russian Foreign Ministry and the People’s Friendship University of Russia in the framework of the events dedicated to the centennial of the establishment of Russia-Afghan relations.
On April 16, 2026, a ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council of IMEMO was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Institute. The event brought together leading Russian scientists, diplomats, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the legislative authorities, with whom the Institute shares many years of collaborative work.
