Situation Analysis “Eurasian Transport Corridors: Prospects and Risks”

On October 21, 2024, the Gorchakov Fund held a Situational Analysis on the development and expansion of Eurasian transport corridors – “Eurasian Transport Corridors: Prospects and Risks”.

Dmitry Trenin, Lead Researcher of the Center for International Security of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), acted as a moderator of the event.

Stanislav Pritchin, Head of the Sector for Central Asia of the Center for post-Soviet Studies at IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History) spoke at the event with a report "Development of the Transport Framework of Eurasia – Challenges and Opportunities for Russia".

Participants discussed issues of existing projects of transport routes, such as the North-South ITC, the Middle Corridor, etc., the interests of key players in these issues, as well as political problems associated with the development and implementation of these projects.
