19On March 18, 2024, a Situation Analysis "Economic Potential of Russian-Chinese Cooperation: Opportunities and Limitations" was held in the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC).
Ivan Danilin, Head of the Department of Science and Innovation of IMEMO, and Sergei Lukonin, Head of the Sector of Economy and Politics of China of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies of IMEMO, took part in the event.
During the discussion, the experts exchanged assessments of the current level of partnership between Russia and China in the field of economy and forecasts of further development of cooperation in the context of restructuring of international economic relations. The event was the second in a series of expert meetings aimed at elaborating Russia's position on cooperation with China.
