Sergei Ignatev, Research Associate of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies, participated on the international conference about "Northeast Asia Plus Community of Responsibility", was held in Jeju (Republic of Korea) on December 15th.

The conference was organized by The Jeju Peace Institute.

Sergei Ignatev was a discussant on the panel was dedicated to New Northern Policy.

During the conference Sergei Ignatev discussed issues such as challenges and opportunities for realization of New Northern Policy in Eurasia, Russia-Korea relationship and correlation between New Northern Policy and perspectives of the so called the "third blue economic corridor" under the the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
