Sergei Ignatev Took Part in the International Conference

Sergei Ignatev from the Center for Asia-Pacific studies at IMEMO participated in the “2018 International Conference: Building a Peaceful Korean Peninsula” was held in Seoul, July 9th.

The conference was organized by the Institute for Unification Education (Ministry of Unification, Republic of Korea), the Korea Foundation and the Korean Association of North Korea Studies.

Sergei Ignatev was a discussant on the session called “Changing Security Concerns in East Asia”.

The event brought together leading Russian scientists, diplomats, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the legislative authorities, with whom the Institute shares many years of collaborative work.
