On June 14, 2023 the Center for North American Studies, together with the Center for International Security and the Center for Strategic Planning Studies, held the second interdepartmental seminar on the topic: "Military Support for Ukraine by the United States and its Allies: Scope and Prospects".
Speakers at the seminar:
- Ilya Kramnik, Research Fellow of the Group of Risk Assessment of the Center for Strategic Planning Studies, with a report "Arms Supplies to Ukraine: Prologue of a Long War";
- Marianna Yevtodyeva, Head of the Group of Military and Economic Globalization Processes of the Center for International Security, Cand. of Science (Politics), with a report "Arms Sales of the World's Largest Military-Industrial Companies in 2018-2022: the Role and Place of Arms Supplies to Ukraine";
- Konstantin Bogdanov, Senior Researcher of the Sector of Military-Political Analysis and Research Projects, Cand. of Science (Technology).
The seminar was moderated by Victoria Zhuravleva, Head of the Center for North American Studies, Cand. of Science (Politics).

During the discussion, in addition to the issues of military supplies, the participants of the seminar discussed the specifics of modern military conflicts, peculiarities of perception of war in the modern world, the role of nuclear weapons in modern wars and possible formats of the new world order.
