On March 5, 2025б in the Academician Inozemtsev conference hall the Center for Strategic Planning Studies of IMEMO held the next seminar “Forecasting and Management”.

The report “Economy of China: Analysis and Forecast” was presented by Givi Machavariani, Head of the Sector of World Economy and Policy Forecasting of the Center for Forecasting Studies of IMEMO.

The seminar presented an analysis of China's economic development over the past several decades. The main attention was paid to the evolution of market reforms, their impact on the formation of global economic trends and the transformation of the country's domestic market. The report examined the key stages of China's economic policy, and also assessed current trends in the context of global challenges.
