The Discussion Forum "European Union in a Polycentric World" held a Seminar "Multilateral Nuclear World".

Presentations were made by:

• Alexey Arbatov, Academician, Head of the Center for International Security of IMEMO, Dr. of Science (History). Report on the topic "Multipolar Nuclear Disarmament?";
• Peter Topychkanov, Senior Researcher of the Center for International Security of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History). Report on the topic "The Place of Outsiders in the Multipolar Nuclear World Order: India and Pakistan".

The aim of the project "European Union in a Polycentric World", launched by the Department for European Political Studies of IMEMO in March 2023, is to discuss the political processes of European integration and analyze the most acute problems in the relationship between Russia and the European Union. The discussion forum is aimed at exploring the role of the EU in the international system and its relations with the main centers of power, as well as at studying changes in the political, economic and social life of European countries and searching for opportunities for interaction between Russia and the EU in the foreseeable future.
