Scientific Workshop "France between presidential and parliamentary elections"

May 18, 2022 Leading Research Fellow at the Center for European Studies, Doctor of Science (Economics) Marina Klinova spoke at the INION RAS scientific Workshop "France between presidential and parliamentary elections".

The report is devoted to the state of the French economy and the pre-election rhetoric on this topic by the representative of the far right forces Marine Le Pen, who entered the second round of elections in the 2022 presidential campaign. The report highlights the peculiarity of the current campaign – the focus of M. Le Pen on the problem of the cost of living, which causes concern for French voters, who also feel the economic consequences of the coronavirus crisis.
