
On September 19, 2018 the next scientific seminar of the Center for European Studies under the guidance of Corresponding Member RAS Alexey Kuznetsov took place.
The main report "The Future of European Fiscal Integration" was made by the Senior Researcher of the Department of Global Economic Problems and Foreign Economic Policy, Ph.D. Elena A. Sidorova.
The presentation dealt with the following issues: the development of the EU Multiannual Fnancial Framework (MFF) for the period 2021-2027; scenarios for the further development of the EU's Common budget; assessment of the consequences of the Brexit for the EU Common budget; Germany's new position concerning the structure of the EU Common budget expenditures; possible new sources of revenue for the EU budget; project of budget for the euro area.
