1555Experts of the IMEMO Center for Asia-Pacific Studies and the University of Melbourne (Australia) met on October 2, 2013 for a roundtable discussion «Social and Institutional Deficiencies Affecting Economic Growth in East Asia: Organized Crime & Corruption». The discussion centered on comparison of scale and character of the influence of organized crime and corruption on economic activities in the countries of this region.
