Russian-Chinese Scientific and Practical Conference "Regional and Cross-Border Interaction in the Structure of the Russian-Chinese Strategic Partnership"

On June 9, 2026, Sergey Lukonin, Head of the Sector of Economy and Politics of China, Cand. of Science (Economics), delivered a paper "Russian-Chinese Cooperation: Challenges and Prospects" at the Russian-Chinese Scientific and Practical Conference "Regional and Cross-Border Interaction in the Structure of the Russian-Chinese Strategic Partnership".

The event was organized by the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FEB RAN), the Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnology of the FEB RAN, and the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Vladivostok.

In his speech, Sergey Lukonin noted the significant achievements in bilateral cooperation between Russia and China, but also drew attention to certain risks of slowing its further expansion.
