Russian-Chinese Conference “Russian-Chinese Trade in a Changing World Order”

On March 30, 2023 Sergey Lukonin, Head of the Sector of Economy and Politics of China, Cand. of Science (Economics), spoke at the Russian-Chinese conference "Russian-Chinese Trade in a Changing World Order".

In his report Sergey Lukonin noted the main achievements in Russian-Chinese trade and economic cooperation (high growth rates of the total volume of Russian-Chinese trade, some successes in financial, investment and scientific cooperation), as well as limitations (the negative impact of sanctions, ambiguous consumption prospects in Russia, etc.).

The event was organized by the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
