The presentation of the monograph of the Department for European Political Studies “Strategic autonomy of the EU and the prospects for cooperation with Russia” was held in the conference hall named after academician N.N. Inozemtsev.

“The monograph is the outcome of the four years of work of the team of authors on the study of the qualitatively new stage of the development of the European integration, which is aimed at gaining strategic autonomy for the EU. There are analyzed both the foreign policy context, which has become a catalyst for promoting the strategic autonomy of the EU, and the most important initiatives of the EU itself. There are identified and highlighted the approaches of the leading EU countries and the decisions, which were made at the pan-European level. There  have been separately studied the problems and the prospects of the cooperation between the EU and Russia in the current conditions.”
