On January 20, 2026, Academician Alexander Dynkin, President of IMEMO, moderated the presentation of the UN Annual Report "World Economic Situation and Prospects 2026" (WESP-2026), prepared by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) in collaboration with the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and five UN regional commissions.
The report contains an in-depth analysis of the current situation in the world economy, short- and medium-term macroeconomic forecasts, recommendations on issues of global social and economic development and is of great interest to the expert community and national governments.
