Presentation of the Report "Baltic Region: Trends and Risks in Socio-Economic Development and International Security"

On January 22, 2026, a Roundtable was held at “Russia Today” International Media Group Press Center within the framework of which the report "Baltic Region: Trends and Risks in Socio-Economic Development and International Security" was presented. It was prepared under the participation of IMEMO in the “Baltic Platform” initiative.

The report examines the main trends in the economic and socio-political development of the Baltic countries, the dynamics of the international situation in the Baltic region, and regional security risks. The study focuses on Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, their domestic and foreign policy priorities, their ideological and political development, their relations with each other, with other countries of the region and outside the region, and their participation in interstate integration associations (EU and NATO).
