1462IMEMO RAN presented a brochure titled «Prospects of China’s Participation in Nuclear Arms Limitations», prepared within the framework of a joint project implemented by IMEMO RAN and the “Nuclear Threat Initiative, Inc.” (NTI).
The presentation looked at major findings of discussions and analysis of the prospects of China’s participation in nuclear arms limitations, and touched upon the issues of engaging European nuclear-weapon states in strategic arms reductions (the findings of the conference on the subject hosted by IMEMO RAN on March 29, 2012 are covered in the relevant brochure published in Russian and English). As part of the presentation the experts exchanged opinions on a wide range of issues pertaining to further nuclear arms reduction and limitations.
