1859The Center for Comparative Socio-Economic and Socio-Political Studies held a workshop within the framework of an on-going seminar dedicated to trends of social and political change and to methodological problems of analyzing political, social and cultural transformations in the contemporary world. The current series is dedicated to social and political change in Western democracies. The workshop focused on the political and social situation in the USA. Dr. Nickita Zagladin, head of the Center, presented a paper on the changes in the American political system and their international context.
