Dmitry Stefanovich took part in the online discussion “Arms control after the pandemic: what will be the new strategic reality?”, which was organized by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund. The key topic of the discussion was the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On the Fundamentals of the State Policy of the Russian Federation in the Field of Nuclear Deterrence” dated June 2, 2020, which was the first official document, issued in this sphere. In the framework of the online discussion the leading Russian experts also summed up the outcomes of the event in Vienna and made a wide-range evaluation of the military, political and historical aspects of the problem of arms control.
