The next issue of the MEMO Journal (No. 8, 2026) is published. Much attention in the issue is paid to topical issues of the global economy. Articles are published on the state and prospects of global tax reform; on the strategic foresight of TNCs in the context of global uncertainty; on some features of economic sanctions regimes.

A significant place in the issue is occupied by articles devoted to the problems of socio-economic development of the USA and Russia. These are materials about the modern American insurance market; about the human and financial resources of high-quality medical care in the USA; about the approaches of the administrations of J. Biden and D. Trump to combating foreign influence in science; about measuring social well-being in Russia’s regions.

European topics are discussed in articles about the problems of the ruling "red-black" coalition in Germany; about the transformation of Spain's security concept in the context of the Ukrainian crisis.

In the section "In the post-Soviet space" readers can find articles about the politics of the Central Asian countries: about the C5+ format in the context of the regional subjectivity of the states of the region.; on the doctrinal features of Uzbekistan's transition to the social and state model of the "New Uzbekistan".

Also of interest is the material on the transformation of the policy of the Democratic Progressive Party during its decade in power in Taiwan.
