The next issue of the “MEMO Journal” (No. 2, 2025) is being prepared for printing. It opens with articles devoted to the topical issues of the modern world economy – structural shifts in the global production activities of multinational companies and price mechanisms of the digital economy.

The main part of the issue is devoted to the political and economic development of individual regions of the world and leading world powers. In particular, much attention is paid to the problems of terrorism and the situation in Afghanistan.

The peculiarities of modern migration trends are considered on the example of cases of France and Kazakhstan. The issues of energy development in the South Caucasus and Central Asia are touched upon.

The topic of international relations covers the Taiwan issue and the collective “securitization” of the security policy of the European Union.
