11The General Meeting of the Russian Academy of Science was held online for the first time. President of the Russian Academy of Science Alexander Sergeev started the General Meeting. he key topic was the implementation of state scientific and technical policy in the Russian Federation. For the first time the direct connection and the feedback were provided by the domestic technology of the Russian company “Interprocom”, a partner of the RAS. President of the Russian Academy of Science Alexander Mikhailovich Sergeev opened the General Meeting with the report “On the implementation of the state scientific and technical policy in the Russian Federation and on the most important scientific achievements of the Russian scientists in the year 2019”. Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Nikolaevich Falkov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
