The article by military observer Iliya Kramnik was published on the website of the RIAC. (https://russiancouncil.ru/en/) It was dedicated to the presentation of the Russian issue of the SIPRI Yearbook and of its Special Annex, which is being prepared by the IMEMO.

Another issue of the authoritative yearbook on the problems of the international security was published in the year, when the constant statements of the growing level of threat are turned into platitudes of the level “the climate of St. Petersburg is primarily caused by the actions of Atlantic cyclones”. Nevertheless, every process must be recorded, and through the work of two of the most powerful research centers on arms, disarmament and international security, represented by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO RAS), we can formulate our vision of what is happening on the scientific basis.
