The next issue of the journal "World Economy and International Relations" (No. 4, 2022) is out of print. The issue opens with a study by V. Zagashvili dedicated to the analysis of the relationship between economic globalization and regional integration in the post-Soviet era.

Continuing the theme of development strategies in this period, the magazine publishes an article by O. Borokh on the role of Chinese economists in developing such a strategy.

In the column "The Greater Middle East," the central place is given to Afghanistan. D. Malysheva analyzes the impact of the change of power in that country on the configuration of international relations in Asia. G. Machitidze explores the relations between the Taliban and Al-Qaeda (organizations banned in the Russian Federation).

Problems of migration in the modern world are still in the center of attention of the edition. This time two articles are devoted to them: T. Andreeva - about illegal migration to Great Britain in 2020-2021 and A. Volodin - about migration flows from South Asia to Western Europe.
