The economic section of the issue contains articles devoted to current problems of economic policy of developed countries and institutional changes taking place in the world economy. Thus, the actual issues of economic policy are considered in the articles by N. Rozanova about foreign experience in supporting competition in the digital economy, by A. Bobrov about transformation of the monetary policy in conditions of financial instability, by O. Bagacheva and O. Smorodinov about some aspects of R&D financing in the OECD countries. The analysis of the activities and prospects of the new major international project in the Asia-Pacific region – the Comprehensive Regional Economic Partnership is the article of V. Salamatov, A. Tangaeva and V. Kolomin. Kolomin. The article by Y. Golub and S. Shenin, which opens the issue, is thematically adjacent to the block of economic articles. Golub and Shenin about the attitude of J. Biden's administration to one of the most important problems of modern development – green transit.
A special section is devoted to the problems of migration in the modern world. Its two articles (by N. Arbatova and E. Khakhalkina, and A. Pogorelskaya) examine the migration policy of the European Union from different angles. The article by A. Schedrin and O. Trofimova analyzes migration processes in a specific EU country, Ireland.
Considering the processes of rapprochement and interaction between Turkey and Azerbaijan which are gaining momentum in various ways, it is interesting to read an article by V. Avatkov about the changes taking place in these countries. The journal continues to publish articles about the processes taking place in the Middle East. For example, Yashlavsky analyzes the role of the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in the Syrian conflict. The section on another region of the world – Latin America is represented by an article by L. Dyakova, devoted to the problems of civil society and education on this continent. Those interested in the theory of international relations may be attracted to the materials of the discussion on different approaches to understanding the evolution of the modern world order, which was held at a joint seminar of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations, and the journal "World Economy and International Relations" published in the section "Academic Event".
Finally, the journal once again turns to publishing materials on the history of IMEMO. This time, the column "From the History of IMEMO" features an article by P. Cherkasov and a collective paper by E. Belyanova, A. Egorov, and I. Bashirova.
