The issue No. 8 of the “MEMO Journal” published in 2024 is dominated by articles devoted to the political and economic development of various regions of the world and the policies of the leading world powers. The issue opens with an article by K. Bogdanov on "double deterrence" in the U.S. policy and its impact on strategic stability. 

The article by V. Sautkina on the protection of workers' interests in the United States is devoted to domestic political aspects of American policy. 

The European section is represented by the articles by E. Cherkasova on the influence of political parties of Spain on the formation of the country's foreign policy and O. Trofimova on the peculiarities of the formation of Switzerland's regional strategy. 

The problems of Latin America are considered in the articles by L. Dyakova on the evolution of the social landscape in the countries of the continent and A. Boreiko on China's economic strategy in the region. 

The post-Soviet space thematics is discussed in the article by A. Zakharov and M. Rakhimzoda on analyzing the dependence of Central Asian countries on foreign aid. The Mongolian vector of Russia's foreign economic policy is analyzed in the article by A. Makarov, E. Makarova and A. Mikheev. The problem of the "crisis of democracy" in the conditions of post-industrial society is analyzed by Y. Nisnevich. 

The economic section of the journal includes articles by V. Milovidov on narrative cycles and the dynamics of the post-war financial market and I. Kotlyarov on the conceptual analysis of crowdfunding as a financing tool.
