New issue of the IMEMO journal “Pathways to Peace and Security”

791

The Fall-Winter issue of the IMEMO journal “Pathways to Peace and Security” is out of print (¹ 2(55), 2018). Its key themes include various aspects of the U.S. foreign and security policy (from the use of development aid as a foreign policy tool to the U.S. strategy on Afghanistan) and the problems of separatism in Europe (with the Catalonia crisis as the case-study). The issue also explores new security actors and threats (including the problem of status of private military and security companies from the point of international law and international information security threats). The arms, arms control and defence issues are addressed in the studies of the history of nuclear programs in the Middle East, the EU defence planning process, and the development of (extra)large autonomous underwater vehicles.
