On May 14, 2025 (Wednesday) at 14:00 the “Asian Seminar” under the leadership of Academician Vasily Mikheev “Program ‘Made in China 2025’: Preliminary Results” was held in the Academician Inozemtsev conference hall.

Speakers:   

• •    Natalya Ivanova – Academician, Dr. of Science (Economics), Professor, Head of Research of IMEMO 
• •    Vasily Kashin – Cand. of Science (Politics), Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University
• •    Sergey Tsyplakov – Cand. of Science (Economics), Lead Researcher of the China Social and Economic Research Center of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia

The seminar discussed the preliminary results of the program of scientific and technological development of China “Made in China 2025”, its contradictions and achievements, as well as the prospects of scientific development of China.

The event was held in a mixed format.
