Scientific seminar on the development of the socio-economic situation in the Baltics

On June 28, 2023 the Center for European Studies of IMEMO held a seminar on the development of the socio-economic situation in the Baltic states.

During the event Vladimir Olenchenko, Senior Researcher of the Center for European Studies, Cand. of Science (Law), made a presentation on the topic "Socio-economic Consequences of the Participation of the Baltic States in the Anti-Russian Sanctions Regime (2014–present)”.

The discussion was attended by Anna Chetverikova, Cand. of Science (Economics), Alexei Volkov, Cand. of Science (Economics), Olga Trofimova, Cand. of Science (Economics), Inna Podkolzina, Cand. of Science (Economics), Stanislav Kuvaldin, Cand. of Science (History), Nikolay Podchasov, Cand. of Science (History),  Alexander Kulinich.

The most urgent problems of development of domestic policy, social sphere, financial sector and energy of the states of the region were considered. Attention was also paid to the issues of migration and relations of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia with the EU partners.
