40On February 16, 2023 the Scientific Conference "Scientific Heritage of Nikolay Kondratiev and modernity" (to the 130th anniversary of Nikolay Kondratiev) was held in the Economist House.
Viktor Tatuzov, Senior Researcher of the Sector of the Foreign Economic Policy of the Department of Global Economic Problems and Foreign Economic Policy at IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Economics), made a presentation "FDI Dynamics: Analysis and Forecasting (Considering Long Waves)". He noted IMEMO's significant contribution to the study of Nikolay Kondratiev's approaches in the Soviet Union, which helped protect the good name of the scientist who was accused of anti-Marxism.
The conference was attended by Russian Academy of Sciences Academicians Boris Porfiriev, Abel Aganbegyan, Sergey Glazyev, Ruslan Grinberg, Vladimir Maevsky and many other famous economists.
