 On April 26, 2005 a meeting with a delegation of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly took place at IMEMO. It was chaired by Dr. Vladimir Baranovsky, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Deputy Director, IMEMO. From the Russian side there were following speakers: Dr. Alexander Kaliadine, Principal Researcher, IMEMO. Dr. Viktor Mizin, Leading Researcher, IMEMO, Dr. Ye. Stepanova, Head of Analytical Group, IMEMO, Prof. Grigory Scherbakov, Director of Department, BIOPREPARAT Stock Company. During the meeting, the NATO PA delegates were primarily interested in problems of nuclear, chemical and biosecurity, as well as in implementation of the G8 Global Partnership. The Russian experts provided all necessary answers and clarifications. The meeting was organized by the IMEMO Department for Disarmament and Conflict Resolution.
