6Natalia Rogozhina and Alexander Rogozhin made reports at the scientific inter-institutional conference “The countries of Southeast Asia and the South Pacific between Beijing and Washington”, which was held online and took place at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
At the event there were discussed the various aspects of the rivalry and policies of China and the United States at the global and the regional levels, the reactions and the fears of the countries of Southeast Asia and the South Pacific region, as well as the strategies of behavior in the face of aggravated China-United States contradictions.
Chief Researcher, Dr. Natalia Rogozhina made a report called “Southeast Asian Countries in China's Belt and Road Initiative” and Head of the Group of Economic Problems of the IMEMO Alexander Rogozhin made a report “ASEAN-PRC Free Trade Agreement: The Myth and The Reality”.
