Monograph by Alexander Krylov in "Knizhny Mir" Publishing House

On May 29, 2023 "Knizhny Mir" Publishing House published the monograph "South Caucasus States in the Context of International Politics" by Alexander Krylov, Chief Research Fellow of the Sector for the Caucasus of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Dr. of Science (History).

The monograph analyzes the post-Soviet period of development of the states in the region, showing the process of increasing political, ideological and mental-civilizational differences. Much attention is paid to the causes of the transformation of the region into one of the "hot spots" of the planet, the features of the development of ethno-political processes and their influence on interstate relations are shown, the reasons for the high potential of conflict in the region and within each country of the South Caucasus are identified.

The book is addressed to historians, Caucasian scholars, political scientists and all those interested in the history of the Caucasus, post-Soviet and international issues.
