On December 21, 2023, the Center for North American Studies of IMEMO held  the 4th Eduard Batalov Memorial Seminar "’Bidenomics’: Successes and Failures of Joe Biden's First Term" in the Academician Inozemtsev conference hall. The Seminar was be devoted to the analysis of how the socio-economic agendas of presidents are implemented in the reality of a polarized country, using the promises and achievements of the incumbent president as an example. 

The seminar was moderated by Victoria Zhuravleva, Head of the Center for North American Studies of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics).

Presentations were made by employees of the Center for North American Studies and invited experts from the Institute for the US and Canadian Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
