On June 27-28, 2025, the International Scientific and Educational Seminar "SCO in the Era of Digital Diplomacy: Scientific Initiatives for Global Equilibrium" was held at the "Astana International University" (Kazakhstan).

Elena Kuzmina, Head of the Sector for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics), and Anna Velikaya, Senior Researcher of the Group on Peace and Conflict Studies of the Department of International Political Problems of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics), acted as experts at the event.

The program included thematic lectures and master classes on humanitarian and digital aspects of international interaction. The seminar brought together more than 50 young researchers from SCO countries.

The event was organized by the "Eurasian Monitoring" Center for Analytical Research with the support of the Gorchakov Fund.
