34There was held the international scientific forum “Russia-Africa: the politics, the economy, the history and the culture”, where there were discussed the issues of the development of the relations between Russia and the states of the African continent.
Senior Researcher for the Center for Development and Modernization Studies Cand. of Science (History) Mariia Volodina made a report “The educational policy in African countries as a factor in nation-building” at the event.
The forum was held under the auspices of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, led by Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Oleg Ozerov. The ambassadors of a number of the African states, the heads of organizations engaged in the African studies, the scientists on the Africa researches from Russia, from the CIS countries and also from African countries were invited to the meeting.
The participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of the relations between Russia and the states of the African continent.
