7Irina Semenenko made a report “The commemorative culture and politics of memory in the divided societies: the European perspective” during the international forum “Public diplomacy in the dialogue between Russia and the EU”, held at the Voronezh State University.
In the speech there was raised the issue of divisions among the modern European societies around the agenda of the politics of memory and the potential of commemorative culture in maintaining social interactions based on dialogue, in promoting the values of social solidarity and in implementing a policy of responsible development.
