On December 22, 2023, the Center of Energy Research of IMEMO and the Faculty of International Energy Business of the Gubkin National University of Oil and Gas held the XI International Scientific Conference "World Economy and Energy: Main Development Trends and New Challenges" in a hybrid format.

Scientists, teachers, specialists of domestic and foreign energy companies, graduate students of universities and specialized research institutes are invited to participate in the conference.

Following the results of the conference, speakers will be invited to publish articles in journals from the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Decisions on inclusion of reports in the program are made by the organizing committee. Decisions on publication are made by the editorial board of the journal.
