
On May 21, 2025, Natalia Shapiro, Research Fellow of the Group on Peace and Conflict Studies of IMEMO, presented a report on “Transformation of Sanctions Instruments of the US Foreign Policy in the Context of Strengthening Great Power Confrontation” at the International Scientific Conference Session “Public Administration and Development of Russia: Challenges, Strategies and Prospects” (Section “Interstate Interaction in the Era of Changing World Order”), organized by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
In 2025 the program of the International Conference-Session, which is being held from May 19 to 23, includes more than 60 different events, expert sessions, roundtables, reflecting priority areas of improvement of public administration and current issues of socio-economic development of Russia. Traditionally, the conference session is attended by more than 2 000 scientists, teachers, experts, representatives of public authorities and business structures from Russia and a number of foreign countries.
