On April 27, 2026, the Center for Energy Research of IMEMO together with the Faculty of International Energy Business of the National University of Oil and Gas “Gubkin University”, are holding an International Youth Scientific Conference "Global Energy Transition in Conditions of Fragmentation of the Global Economy" in a mixed format.

The moderators were leading scientists from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) and Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations (RAS). The conference featured over 20 papers, selected from over 30 submitted applications. Following the conference, the moderators recognized the following participants: Alexey Sergeevich Kharitonov, Pavel Igorevich Nagorny, Maxim Vladimirovich Kramskoy, and Nadya Kharita. Following the conference, a collection of papers will be published. The decision on inclusion in the publication will be made by the organizing committee. Full papers will be accepted until May 15, 2026.
