On May,31 Staff-members of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies Deputy Director of the IMEMO, Head of the Center, Dr. of Science (History), Professor of the RAS Alexander Lomanov, Senior Researcher for the Group of the Asia-Pacific Region Problems Leonid Gamza, Head of the Sector of Economy and Politics of China, Cand. of Science (Economics) Sergey Lukonin and Junior Research Fellow for the Sector of Economy and Politics of China Boris Anosov took part in the remote international conference “The bilateral economic issues in the current situation” with the representatives of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges.

The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of the cooperation between Russia and China within the framework of the Partnership for Greater Eurasia, of the strengthening of the economic and trade relations between Russia and China, of the consistencies of the China’s “Belt and Road” initiative and the Partnership for Greater Eurasia, as well as of the cooperation in the framework of the Northern Sea Route.
