Memorandum of Understanding between IMEMO and the CLAWS

The Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Centre for Land and Warfare Studies (CLAWS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in New Delhi on February 22, 2024.

The IMEMO delegation included Director Feodor Voitolovskiy, Head of the Center of the Indo-Pacific Region Alexey Kupriyanov, Head of the Center for Strategic Planning Studies Sergey Kislitsyn, Head of the Sector of Economy and Politics of China of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies Sergey Lukonin, Senior Researcher of the Center for International Security Konstantin Bogdanov, Junior Research Fellow of the Center of the Indo-Pacific Region Gleb Makarevich.

Before signing of the Memorandum experts had seminar during which they discussed international security issues – namely, mechanisms of nuclear deterrence and arms control amid increasing political tensions, specifics of warfare in modern regional military conflicts, role of new modern military technologies on the battlefield.
